Kaká & Andrea Pirlo

Why this one matters.

“The same legendary midfield pairing returns on the stealth parallel — Kaká and Andrea Pirlo's 2022-23 Topps Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Chrome Dual Autograph Black Refractor, #DA-KP, numbered 03/10 and slabbed PSA/DNA GEM MT 10 with dual Auto 10 signatures. The black refractor strips the design to its darkest form, letting the two blue-ink signatures and the Rossoneri stripes carry the whole card; limited to ten copies worldwide, with both autographs independently earning the maximum grade. Kaká and Pirlo need little introduction to anyone who watched football in the 2000s. Kaká was the slaloming Brazilian number ten whose 2006-07 season — ten Champions League goals, including a three-goal semi-final against Manchester United — ended with European Cup glory in Athens and the Ballon d'Or, adding the medal to the World Cup he won with Brazil in 2002. Pirlo was the architect beside him, the deep-lying playmaker who set the tempo for two Champions League-winning Milan sides and orchestrated Italy's 2006 World Cup triumph. They were teammates in one of the most watchable midfields of the century, acceleration and control sharing the same dressing room. A black dual auto with perfect card and signature grades is exactly the kind of trophy card Rossoneri collectors build sets around — and paired with the red /5 version, it offers two rarity tiers of the same historic double signature.”
