Why this one matters.
“Two legends of the AC Milan midfield, one dual autograph, and the card graded perfectly at every level — Kaká and Andrea Pirlo's 2022-23 Topps Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Chrome Dual Autograph Red Refractor, #DA-KP, numbered 3/5 and slabbed PSA/DNA GEM MT 10 with dual Auto 10 signatures. It is a genuinely rare combination: a dual auto where both players' signatures independently earned the maximum grade, on a red refractor parallel limited to five copies worldwide. The pairing itself is football history. Kaká was the explosive, slaloming number ten whose 2006-07 season carried Milan to Champions League glory in Athens — ten goals in that campaign including a three-goal semi-final haul against Manchester United, followed by the Ballon d'Or — and a World Cup winner with Brazil in 2002. Pirlo was the metronome beside him, the deep-lying playmaker whose passing tempo defined a generation of Italian football; he won two European Cups in red and black and, in 2006, orchestrated Italy's World Cup triumph. Together in the bwin-kit years they formed one of the most admired midfields of the century, the artist of acceleration alongside the artist of control. Dual autograph cards succeed when the names genuinely belong together, and few checklists can match this: two Ballon d'Or-era number tens of the same club, teammates in a Champions League-winning side, captured on a five-copy red refractor with perfect card and signature grades. A cornerstone for any Rossoneri collection.”
