Thomas Müller

Why this one matters.

“Guess who ranked at the top of the goals pack when Group C in UEFA 2018 World Cup qualifying came to a close." Panini's card back answers its own question: Germany found Thomas Müller right where it expected him to be, tied for the group lead with five markers as Die Mannschaft marched toward Russia 2018. Only Germany's own Sandro Wagner and Norway's Joshua King could keep pace with the man Panini calls "the proven hit man." This Century Collection Materials Autograph freezes that qualifier-form in National Treasures' signature throwback design — deep-green window, art-deco framing and a shield-shaped player-worn patch cut from white cloth carrying bold black lettering and stripes. Beneath it, Müller signs on-card in bright blue ink. What makes the card singular is the Platinum parallel: a true One of One, marked in manuscript "One of One" on the front and confirmed on the PSA label. Graded PSA NM 7 for the card, it pairs a perfectly centered, flawlessly executed autograph honored with an Auto 10. A one-of-a-kind relic-auto of a two-time Treble winner, 2014 world champion and Raumdeuter — the only Platinum copy that will ever exist.”
