Why this one matters.
“There is no more sacred image in English football than the one frozen on this card: a smiling Bobby Moore, hoisted onto his teammates' shoulders, raising the Jules Rimet Trophy at Wembley in 1966. The final against West Germany is the match every English child learns by heart — 1-1 at full time after Wolfgang Weber's late equaliser, then extra time belonged to Geoff Hurst. His controversial shot bounced down off the crossbar and over the line to put England ahead, and in the dying seconds he crashed home a third to complete the only hat-trick in a men's World Cup final, sealed by Kenneth Wolstenholme's immortal line, "They think it's all over... it is now!" Martin Peters had scored England's second, and when the 4-2 win was complete, captain Moore climbed the Wembley steps in his mud-caked kit and wiped his hands before receiving the trophy from Queen Elizabeth II. It remains England's solitary World Cup, and West Ham's Moore — later immortalised by a statue outside the new Wembley — stands as the elegant, composed face of that day. Panini's Champions insert honours the 1966 winners on the ultra-short Gold Power Prizm, limited to just five copies worldwide; this 02/5 example is a flawless PSA GEM MT 10, a museum-grade relic of the Three Lions' finest afternoon.”
